About the role

We are looking for an experienced and driven Sales Executive to drive revenue growth. As our first dedicated sales hire, you will play a pivotal role in building and executing our sales strategy, prospecting and nurturing leads, and closing deals. This position requires a high level of empathy, the ability to learn complex legal, tax, and operational processes, and truly excellent communication skills.


About you:

  • Proven track record of success in a sales role, preferably within the technology or professional services industry
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, qualify leads, and close deals in an early-stage startup environment
  • Experience in developing and executing sales strategies, including lead generation, pipeline management, and forecasting
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and solutions
  • Experience in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation software
  • Familiarity with sales metrics and KPIs, and a data-driven approach to optimizing sales processes
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and deliver exceptional customer service


In the first month, you'll:

  • Undergo comprehensive training on our company's dissolution services, processes, and value propositions
  • Participate in client meetings and sales calls alongside the founder to learn best practices
  • Collaborate with the founder to understand our existing sales approach, pipeline, and target customer profiles
  • Start developing a sales playbook, including prospecting strategies, lead qualification criteria, and sales collateral


In the first 3 months, you'll:

  • Close deals
  • Identify and prioritize potential lead sources and initiate outreach campaigns
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads through targeted prospecting efforts
  • Conduct solo product demos and sales presentations to communicate our value propositions
  • Develop a deep understanding of common client pain points, objections, and decision-making processes
  • Implement a lead nurturing and follow-up system to maintain engagement with prospects


In the first 6 months, you'll:

  • Achieve and exceed quarterly sales targets and KPIs
  • Continuously refine and optimize sales strategies based on data-driven insights and customer feedback
  • Contribute to the development of pricing strategies and sales collateral
  • Identify and pursue strategic partnership opportunities to expand our reach
  • Provide training and guidance to future sales hires as the team grows
