Irrational Labs is based in San Francisco. But you can be based anywhere in the U.S (as most of our employees are). This is a remote U.S. company with 2x a year in-person gatherings.

Our work spans from driving customer adoption of digital experiences to creating ground-up innovations that leverage key psychologies. We are experts in how and why people make decisions and guide top companies in applying this knowledge to their top problems.
This position is perfect for someone trained in behavioral science and someone with client management skills. At current, we are not hiring junior people. This person has experience applying behavioral science concepts/ideas in a real-world environment (read: must have industry/work experience in behavioral science)
Examples of questions we answer include:
We work directly with PMs, designers, and marketers at tech companies. This means you will need some understanding of how a tech company works and be a skilled communicator of behavioral insights in order to get on their roadmap.
You would build relationships with senior stakeholders, form a joint working team, and take the client through the Behavioral Design process. Throughout the process, you will consult with Irrational Lab’s core team of behavioral scientists and advisors including Kristen Berman and Dan Ariely.
By being a part of this team, the person will learn key insights about human behavior that could be used in the future across domains. You’ll learn how Irrational Labs thinks about product design. You’ll be exposed to projects, workshops, and new ways to approach problems.
