Senior Mobile Software Engineer (Remote)

We are currently seeking to fill several Senior Engineer positions across all four of our engineering teams. Learn more about our engineering teams here.

As a member of RXNT’s mobile application team, you’ll work with the product and Engineering team to add high value features to the existing enterprise grade mobile application. 

Key Responsibilities

• As a Senior Mobile Software Engineer, you will design and implement a library of cross-platform React Native components.
• You will rebuild an existing C# Xamarin mobile application using React Native.
• You will regularly review the code of your peers.
• You will push for and maintain industry best practices in developing a robust enterprise-grade React Native application.
• You will ensure 100% test coverage.
• Work with your engineering manager to measure and improve key technical metrics.
• Work with the Product team to understand the pain points of end users and help solve them using technology.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

You might be a good fit if you

• Have a proven track record (3+ years of experience) of architecting and engineering world-class, large-scale commercial mobile applications and related services in React Native
• Are proficient in React Native framework
• Are strong in computer science fundamentals (typically backed by a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, or a bachelor’s degree or higher in a math or science field plus strong professional experience)
• Are comfortable using a REST based API to build high-performing native mobile applications
• Have some full-stack development experience (comfortable with Javascript, exposure to ReactJS or Angular)

Bonus

• You have experience with setting up pipelines to build and deploy mobile apps to both Android play store and Apple app store.
• Familiarity with various devops services in Azure, CircleCI and Datadog.
• Work on Open Source projects.
• Speak publicly or write technical content
• Read voraciously.
