At Plot, we've built the leading Social Listening platform for video analytics, helping major brands truly understand how consumers think and behave. As part of our core Social Intelligence team, you'll work directly with our founders and collaborate with products, sales and marketing teams to shape what's next in social media intelligence. This position blends research and development, giving you the opportunity to tackle challenges across different areas while solving complex problems like turning rich social media insights into clear, actionable strategies for brands. Your work at Plot will have direct impact on how some of the world's most recognized brands make decisions that matter.

Who You Are

BS, MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Math or related technical degree
Expertise with LLMs and their applications (fine-tuning, prompt engineering, RAG). Experience with classical ML and statistical models is a plus
Demonstrated experience with at least one of the LLM framework like Langgraph, Llamaindex, etc…
Have 0 to 1 experience with a bias towards shipping and learning while balancing a high quality bar
Strong product intuition — the ability to think broadly and cross-functionally about innovative ML product experiences
Experience building and deploying models in user-facing production settings
An ability to scope and timebox research problems and execute the findings via concrete product plans
You thrive in a startup environment and are comfortable switching between different roles as needed
You genuinely enjoy working with others and believe the best products come from great teamwork

We are NOT a good fit if you:

need clear scope and guidance to complete your work
are uncomfortable with a fast paced dynamic work environment
haven't actively engaged with LLM technology and its ecosystem through professional work or meaningful personal projects

What you’ll do

Identify opportunities for where ML can fit into the product and work with the team to bring those visions to life
Prototype and productionize the models/agents that power these ML experiences
Share your knowledge of ML use cases to enable other teams to build ML-powered features using the models you’ve deployed
Write the data pipelines that feed your ML systems
