Provides individual and group career coaching to a diverse undergraduate student body at all levels of academic progress. Facilitates workshops and events and develops resources to support career exploration, development of career-related skills/competencies and application processes related to internship/entry level job search and graduate/professional school.
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Two years of professional experience in career education, business and/or similar employment
- Master’s degree in a related field
- Strong coaching and interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation of workshops
- Experience in program and project development and implementation
- Familiarity with career, employment and hiring trends
- Demonstrated cultural competence and proven effectiveness in serving the needs of a diverse undergraduate student population
- Strong time-management skills
- Proficient with technology and able to learn new systems quickly and easily
- Demonstrated team player who takes initiative
- Commitment to working some evenings and weekends
