Our client is an insurance agency offering dedicated, high-quality service to a range of clients since 2017. They specialize in both commercial and personal lines for government entities, public schools, non-profits, small businesses, and individual clients. Known for their commitment to innovation and personalized service, our client seeks to strengthen their team by adding a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative who will help deliver an exceptional client experience.

Role Overview

We are actively seeking a skilled and customer-focused Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our client's team in Elmwood Park, NJ. This position offers a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to support their growth and deliver outstanding service to their clients. You will collaborate closely with the Office Manager and sales team to manage insurance policies and ensure clients’ needs are met promptly and accurately. This is a full-time, on-site role, working Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate and correspond with agency clients to address needs and provide assistance
  • Process new and renewal insurance policies with precision
  • Provide support to Sales team
  • Assist clients and prospects with insurance services and policy-related questions
  • Participate in projects that support the agency's growth and process improvements


Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of professional experience; experience in the insurance industry is a plus
  • New Jersey Property & Casualty Insurance License
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word; CRM experience is a bonus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service and problem-solving
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable in a dynamic environment


Bonus Skills

  • Background in insurance and/or claims is advantageous
  • Familiarity with QQ Catalyst software
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to team goals and business growth

Compensation: $47,000 - $50,000 annually, with commission opportunities. Pay within this range is determined by skills, experience, and relevant qualifications.
