We’re looking for an experienced and creative iOS/MacOS engineer to help build our iOS app. As an early engineer at [untitled], you’ll be a key player in setting the technical foundations for our iOS app.

[What you’ll achieve]

Work with a team of engineers and cross-functional partners to design, develop, and maintain existing and new features to our iOS application
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
Lead and improve engineering processes, like maintaining code quality, testing, organization, and automation
Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge-sharing

[What you’ll need to bring]

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of professional experience in iOS development
Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C
Proficiency in connecting iOS applications to back-end services
Strong understanding of iOS frameworks, best practices, and design patterns
Strong knowledge of the complete mobile development lifecycle
Experience working at startups and small engineering teams
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Comfort with ambiguity
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Passion for crafting well-architected, high-quality software

Bonus points

Experience with Core Data, Core Animation, and other Apple frameworks
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
Knowledge of UI/UX standards and guidelines
Experience with performance and memory tuning
