Compensation, Benefits, & Perks

• Base Salary: $200K-$250K

• Equity: 150-250 BPS (1.5% - 2.5% equity)

The Role

We're seeking an engineering leader who can build both our technical foundation and engineering culture from the ground up. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic vision, focusing on our core SaaS platform that's driving real impact in the skilled trades industry. Our platform has demonstrated measurable success, driving 14% revenue increases per job and 2.5x behavior change for our customers.


What You'll Own

• Technical architecture and implementation of our AI-powered platform

• Data architecture for LLM integration and deployment

• Engineering team culture and hiring strategy

• Product-minded technical leadership working directly with the CEO

• Full-stack development and technical roadmap execution


Must-Have Experience

• Early-stage startup experience (must have been one of first 5-10 employees)

• Track record of building something from 0 to 1

• Strong product intuition and ability to translate technical decisions into product impact

• Hands-on development expertise with modern stack (JavaScript/TypeScript, React, AWS)

• Experience building and leading engineering teams

• Background in AI/ML implementation and deployment


Technical Challenges You'll Tackle

• Designing scalable AI architecture and LLM integration

• Structuring datasets for flexible AI model deployment

• Building sophisticated data pipelines and analytics systems

• Creating robust API architectures for enterprise integration

• Scaling systems while maintaining performance and reliability

• Leading technical decisions that drive product success
