Are you an experienced BigCommerce developer with a knack for team leadership? Do you have a background in eCommerce agency work? If so, we want to hear from you! We're looking for a Senior BigCommerce Consultant with at least 5 years of expert-level experience to improve our eCommerce solutions and mentor other developers.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct inbound sales technical calls with prospective clients
• Translate functional requirements into technical designs
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
• Work with clients, project managers, and developer teams to ensure timely and budget-friendly solutions
• Write clean, functional code and debug applications
• Perform UI tests to optimize performance
• Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications
• Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements
• Oversee a team of two developers and provide BigCommerce platform expertise
• Gather and address technical and design requirements
• Stay updated on emerging technologies

Requirements:

• Experience as a BigCommerce Consultant
• Client-facing with strong communication skills
• Experience with managing projects from A to Z
• In-depth understanding of web development process (design, development, deployment)
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, GIT, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies
• Familiarity with front-end languages (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
• BigCommerce Certification (preferred)
• Team management skills (preferred)
• Proficiency in English (required), French (preferred)
• Willingness to work in EST timezone, part-time (~20h/week) with no fixed hours
