About company

Collaboration takes place at the intersection between people and tools. Modern teams use dozens of tools to build and deploy software, resulting in a slow, painful development cycle and a subpar developer experience.

At Dimension, we're building a collaboration platform to help teams build and deploy products faster. By unifying GitHub, Vercel, Linear, Netlify, Cloudflare, and thousands of other developer tools into a powerful platform, we're enabling engineering teams to deploy products faster than ever before.

We're backed by the best investors in the world, including the founders of GitHub, Netlify, Framer, Pitch, WorkOS and more.

You can learn more about us on our careers page.

About the role

As a frontend software engineering intern working in our "skunk works" team, you'll be leading the development for the frontend of a brand new product prototype, working directly with the founder in the process.

You'll need to be comfortable with building interfaces that update in real-time as well as fetching data from (and integrating) external APIs (both GraphQL & Rest). You need to be familiar with React design patterns.

Dimension is a product built around developer experience and performance. Speed, experience, and the tiniest of interactions matter the most. We expect a broad set of engineering and collaboration skills - including experience with design tools like Figma. We also expect an eye for detail and a growth mindset.

Time commitment is approximately 20 hours a week, flexible timings. It will be a hybrid setup, with in-person meetings directly with the founder once or twice a week, and fully remote for the rest.

Technologies:

  • Next.js
  • Prisma / Drizzle
  • TailwindCSS
  • Global state management library
  • TypeScript
  • Postgres

What you'll work on

You'll be building a new product we're prototyping targeted at AI engineering teams and data scientists - an ultimate collaboration workspace for AI-driven teams. Imagine the world's most powerful jupyter notebook, integrated with HuggingFace, Weights & Biases, data visualizers, training environments, and of course - lots of GPUs!

Why we're a great place to work at

  • Competitive salary
  • Clear progression towards a full-time role (with potential equity) if desired
  • Interesting and challenging work with continuous learning opportunities
  • Flexible working hours
