Rafa is rolling out audio job descriptions. Job descriptions have failed to capture what the day to day actually looks like in a company. You can use this for inbound motion, but also get creative with your outbound outreach.

As the Founding Product Designer at Rapha. you will play a pivotal role in shaping the design direction of our startup. You'll be responsible for creating beautiful, intuitive, and functional experiences that reflect our brand and drive user engagement. This is a hands-on role where you'll collaborate closely with the founders and the engineering team to turn ideas into high-fidelity designs that are both customer-centered and innovative. You should have a strong portfolio showcasing your experience with product design, UX/UI, and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment. Experience with early-stage products is a plus!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design process from concept to completion.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that address customer pain points.
  • Work closely with engineers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
  • Establish design guidelines and maintain consistency across the product.
  • Collaborate with the team to gather feedback and iterate on designs.


Required Skills:

  • Strong experience with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Expertise in UX/UI principles, with a user-first mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to create both low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes.


Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with early-stage startups.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS or familiarity with front-end frameworks.
