About the role

Hey! We’re Founders Arm, a recruitment company that pairs companies with talented Assistants with companies based in the US.


Responsibilities:

  • Research tasks: Collect data on specific tasks (e.g., company structures, employee benefits) and organize the information.
  • Research interviews: Reach out to employees at various companies to conduct short interviews and gather insights.
  • Assist colleagues: Support recruiting and sourcing functions.
  • Administrative tasks: Schedule meetings, manage spreadsheets, conduct additional research, and organize collected data.
  • Content creation: Write blog posts and create engaging content on topics like "Career Paths for Software Engineers" or "Understanding Compensation at Amazon."
  • Other tasks: Help with any additional tasks that arise in the startup environment.


Requirements:

  • Fluent English: Ability to conduct research and write content in English, along with strong communication skills for interviews.
  • Interpersonal/friendly skills: Comfortable cold reaching out to people on LinkedIn and doing data gathering
  • Comprehensive skills: Ability to assess information relevance and handle both research and administrative tasks.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite: Effective use of Google Docs, Sheets, and other tools.
  • Diligence: Thorough research and persistence in finding new information sources.
  • Quick learner: Ready to dive into unfamiliar processes and learn new software or programs.
  • Self-reliance & autonomy: Ability to organize work independently and achieve goals.
  • Proactive team player: Willing to share ideas and contribute creatively.


Working hours:

  • Golden Hours - PST time zone: 9 am to 12 pm. Rest of work can be done from other hours.
