Why we need you

As our first marketing hire, you'll help tell and spread the story of how the legal teams of the future work and thrive, and how, literally as quickly as the day of signing up, legal teams can be happier, more productive, and more strategic.

This role is a growth person's dream - the product is amazing. People who use it can't believe it. So we want EVERYONE to believe it and hear about it. We have a solid foundation and founder brand (eg, 11M earned media impressions, not counting CNN globally) and educational courses driving leads today. We need help scaling what’s working and building out strategic messaging, as well as the day-in day-out building of a marketing machine across web, LinkedIn, X, and in-product.

We’re seeking an ambitious, smart, resourceful, and results-oriented marketing generalist to join our team and eventually grow a team and function. Short term, you will work directly with the CEO across the entire marketing mix, scaling our existing channels and testing out new ones. Longer term, we have a highly ambitious growth plan and are targeting $5-10M ARR in the next year. You will be key to getting us there.

We envision this role as director level but we're open to higher or lower - let's talk.

What you'll do

Drive our growth funnel (bowtie!): brand > awareness > acquisition > trust > revenue expansion > virality
Create and execute an email marketing strategy to nurtures and engage our audience of over 5K MQLs and 15K leads.
Accelerate our educational content to customer flywheel: AI courses for lawyers > leads > customers > referrals to AI course > repeat
Build a content engine that purrs across all our channels - LinkedIn, Twitter, email, blog, community, and website.
Help grow our community through engagement of our most fanatic users (we love them so much!)
Scale up marketing operations with automations and AI.
Help manage our website and content strategy.
Manage and execute an events strategy.
Create and manage our G2 profile.
Create and maintain assets for sales & marketing materials with designers.
Hire and manage outside agencies you eventually replace with team members

You need these qualifications

5-10+ years of full time work experience, 3+ years in marketing, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive growth
Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO tools, Framer, HubSpot, etc.).
Excellent written English - you need to be able to write content that hooks the reader and stand up to our CEO and CTO who, well, writing is our thing.
Extremely smart - you learn fast.
Love challenges - no challenge is too big for you.
Keen attention to detail - no typo passes your sight.

It would be nice if

You have experience with video editing
You have experience in legal tech or have previously marketed technology solutions to legal professionals.
Experience at a startup that used high-quality educational content, courses, or events to drive growth
You're into B2B SaaS
You're a former lawyer (a stretch we know!)
