About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Head of People Ops to join Virgil. In this role, you will oversee HR functions, ensuring seamless integration with both corporate and client-facing operations. Responsibilities include managing employee background checks, end-to-end onboarding/offboarding, state withholding and unemployment insurance registrations, and administering employee benefits through a supported HR platform. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with local and federal regulations, balancing internal HR needs with those of clients.

Ideally, you have 5+ years of experience in a senior HR role, preferably within a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You may have served as an HR Director or Senior HR Manager, and are now looking to lead a comprehensive HR function where you can make a significant impact on both the organizational and client levels
