We’re on a mission to build a full-stack web3 platform (frontend, backend, on-chain) that makes building production-grade web3 apps and games incredibly easy. We’re empowering builders to create a new generation of the internet.

Our belief is that web3 native consumer applications in gaming, social, commerce and more will unlock the next billion crypto users. These apps and games will take behaviors that people are already familiar with and enjoy on the internet, and make them even more fun and meaningful.

To integrate web3 into their apps, developers need a wide set of tools to execute their vision. Our job is to reduce the developer complexity to interact with the blockchain and improve the user experience for their customers.

To do this, we are building a full stack platform for web3 - frontend, backend and on-chain- that works on any EVM chain.

We’re building a complete, simple and cohesive developer experience. We started thirdweb in the second half of 2021 and our community of builders has exploded ever since.

Over 70,000 developers use thirdweb every month and Over 1M unique wallets have interacted with our contracts on mainnet. We deploy tens of thousands of projects to the same and work with brands like Shopify, AWS, Coinbase, Rarible, Animoca Brands, InfiniGod and so many more! It’s been an incredible journey so far, and we’re just getting started.

Work in a small engineering team, taking ownership of Contracts that power tens of thousands of decentralized applications built with thirdweb. You'll make key decisions on product, architecture, developer experience, and implementation across multiple products, including the prebuilt smart contracts, protocol contracts, contracts framework and smart contract tooling

What a typical week might look like

• Design and implement gas optimized smart contracts deployed by hundred of thousands of developers
• Develop new smart contract frameworks and tools to help developers create safe and optimal smart contracts
• Collaborate with the other teams to work on solutions to solve customer challenges, plan new features, and iterate from lessons learned
• Communicate with our customers to assist in integrating thirdweb into their application or platform
• Engage with a large web3 community of developers, companies and auditors across the industry

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of professional work experience
• Proficiency with Solidity and the EVM
• Interest and passion for contributing to the crypto ecosystem
• Deep understanding of smart contract best practices, current industry patterns and security best practices
• Excited about working in a fast-paced, unstructured environment that prioritizes delivering impact and learning over process
• A self-starter in proposing and carrying out technical solutions to ambiguous business problems
• Know when and how to make calculated tradeoffs to meet the needs of the customer and business
