About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Executive to join our growing SaaS company. This role is ideal for an experienced sales professional with a strong background in SaaS and a proven track record of working with products utilizing a Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategy.

The Senior Sales Executive will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by leveraging their expertise in selling SaaS solutions and capitalizing on PLG models to acquire and retain customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development & Execution:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed revenue targets, with a focus on driving growth through PLG methodologies.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with key decision-makers in target industries.
  • Leverage customer usage data, product adoption trends, and insights from PLG strategies to refine and optimize the sales approach.


Pipeline Management:

  • Manage and expand a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent achievement of sales quotas.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with product-led growth initiatives, including upselling and cross-selling strategies.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track and report on key sales metrics and pipeline status.


Customer Engagement & Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their business needs and challenges.
  • Present and demonstrate SaaS solutions to prospective customers, effectively communicating the value proposition of the product.
  • Negotiate and close high-value deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term retention.


Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Work closely with the product team to provide feedback on customer needs, pain points, and feature requests to influence the product roadmap.
  • Mentor and guide junior sales team members, sharing knowledge on PLG strategies and best practices in SaaS sales.
  • Collaborate with customer success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and customer success in using the product.


Market Intelligence & Reporting:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the SaaS space, particularly related to PLG.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends.
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and new revenue opportunities.


Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in SaaS sales, with at least 3-5 years in a senior sales role.
  • Proven track record of success in selling SaaS products, particularly those with a Product-Led Growth model.
  • Demonstrated ability to close complex, high-value deals with enterprise customers.


Skills:

  • Strong understanding of PLG strategies and how to leverage them in a sales context.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable sales strategies.
