As a Venture Associate at Asylum Ventures, you will be at the forefront of identifying and nurturing high-potential startups. Your role involves sourcing investment opportunities, conducting market research, performing due diligence, and assisting in portfolio management. You will work closely with our partners to support the growth of our portfolio companies and help drive strategic initiatives. Key skills for this role include strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate potential investment opportunities through market research and networking.
• Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective startups, including financial analysis, market assessment, and competitive analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of investment memos and presentations for the investment committee.
• Support portfolio companies by providing strategic advice, operational assistance, and connecting them with relevant resources.
• Monitor and report on the performance of portfolio companies, providing insights and recommendations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, industry experts, and other venture capital firms.
• Participate in industry events, conferences, and meetings to stay updated on market trends and identify new opportunities.
