About the role
At dupe.com, we are searching for a versatile and visionary Founding Product Designer to join our founding team. In this role, you will embrace ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment where you'll wear multiple hats. You will be instrumental in shaping our design vision and strategy, creating intuitive and visually stunning interfaces that redefine online shopping. Your adaptability and user-centered design expertise will be key in driving our mission to make luxury accessible for everyone.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design process, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contributing to product strategy and development.
- Develop and maintain cohesive design systems and style guides.
- Conduct user testing, gather feedback, and iterate to continuously improve the product.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices, and apply them to enhance our platform.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in product design, particularly in startup or dynamic environments.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
- Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and usability testing.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to adapt to changing priorities and needs.
