About the role

We are looking for a GTM Lead to join our founding team to help us iterate our way towards a scalable, predictable, and repeatable growth machine. We’re looking to bring somebody on board who is passionate about the startup ecosystem and enjoys working in various disciplines (legal tech, investment banking, fintech, etc.). 


About you:

  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies
  • Ability to build relationships with channel partners (bonus points if you’ve previously worked with VCs or law firms).
  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset - you move fast, test, and iterate quickly
  • You are comfortable working in an early-stage startup with ambiguity and less direction
  • You collaborate well with others and can communicate effectively
  • You are proactive. When you see something broken, you jump on it to fix it or suggest improvements.

In the first month, you'll:

  • Immerse yourself in Sunset’s existing product, service, and ICP
  • Conduct an analysis on our current go-to-market efforts and lead sources
  • Craft an initial set of go-to-market hypotheses to begin testing
  • Establish an initial set of baselines and analytics around our marketing efforts

Within the first 3 months, you'll:

  • Be able to identify and initiate conversations with potential channel partners and industry influencers
  • You’ll have tested several go-to-market strategies/channels and have documented your learnings from the experiments
  • Increased the number of net new leads that we talk to i.e. will have grown the top of our funnel
  • Be able to scope and work on projects self-sufficiently

Within the first 6 months, you'll:

  • Established a robust network of channel partners to drive awareness and adoption of our offerings
  • Have developed and implemented a scaleable go-to-market framework/process that can be applied to future hires or launches
  • Have ideally found a channel that can repeatedly drive qualified leads into our funnel
