We're hiring our first Sales Development Representative! You’ll directly work with the founding team and be responsible for hunting and qualifying leads to build sales opportunities for Vimcal Maestro.

Working with us means having both high ownership and high amounts of freedom. At Vimcal, we do whatever it takes to make executive assistants and users successful. You may have to reply to an inbound lead at 10pm, but we also don’t mind if you have to go run errands at 11am on a Wednesday.

Vimcal is primarily based in New York City. For this role you’re ideally located here, but for exceptional candidates, we’re open to remote as long as you’re based in the US, can work Eastern Time hours from 10am-6pm, and can spend 25% of your time in New York City.

You will:

Source new sales opportunities through outbound outreach
Conduct research to identify and add prospects to your outbound sales list
Maintain and log all sales touch points within Hubspot

Previously competed at high levels (sports, performing arts, etc.)
Find it easy to speak with strangers
Have a high level of comfort with sales, prospecting and marketing tools, & processes
Have strong written and verbal communication skills
Have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Have a high sense of urgency and ability to work within undefined processes

Nice to Haves

Experience with startup/smb sales/cold outreach
Experience in using HubSpot or Salesforce
Experience in building prospect lists
Experience at a high-growth startup
