We’re inviting individuals with a deep knowledge in product analytics and data storytelling to join the TipTop core team. As a Product Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting user data to drive product improvements and enhance the overall user experience on our platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL, experience in statistical hypothesis testing, excellent data visualization skills, financial forcasting, and a passion for effectively communicating complex data insights.
You Will:
- Utilize a variety of statistical analysis techniques to identify opportunities for product enhancements and inform decision-making processes.
- Design, conduct, and analyze experiments (A/B tests) to evaluate the impact of product changes on user engagement and retention.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, scripts, and dashboards to collect, aggregate, and transform data from various sources.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Machine Learning and Designers, to define key metrics, goals, and hypotheses for analyzing product performance.
- Build and own company wide dashboards and decks using tools like Amplitude, mParticle, BigQuery.
- Provide metrics and financial forcasting directly to the CEO and Board of Directors.
You Have:
- 5+ years of experience as a product analyst or data scientist analyzing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to user behavior, usage patterns, and product performance.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to independently analyze and interpret data to derive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong expertise in SQL and Python for data analysis, with a proven ability to work with complex datasets and write efficient queries.
- A desire to experiment, test assumptions, and challenge hypotheses rapidly.
- The ability to see complex problems as solvable challenges.
Even Better:
- Prior experience working in retail or ecommerce.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and experimental design.
- Familiarity with iOS and mobile app development concepts is a plus.
