Serotonin is seeking an experienced Marketing Director to define and oversee marketing strategy for some of the most high-profile companies in the blockchain space and beyond. This person will work as these clients’ “Head of Marketing” or right hand to an existing head to ensure that they are bringing a compelling story to market — one that engages and activates their core audience. The ideal candidate should have 7-10+ years of experience leading marketing and communications efforts for early and growth-stage technology companies, and should be well versed in fintech and/or web3 technology. Agency experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Define and drive creative marketing campaigns with clients’ key goals in mind.
Collaborate and manage cross functionally across PR, Content, Marketing, Growth, Events and Community teams.
Take ownership of the client's brand and make decisions that are best for the client.
Be able to appropriately adapt the client’s messaging and strategy to a constantly changing ecosystem
Oversee Public Relations efforts and ensure consistent execution / alignment with key messaging
Oversee content strategy and development
Manage growth campaigns, paid and owned media
Set and refine community and social media engagement strategies
Lead strategic exercises, including messaging workshops, communication workshops, etc.
Ensure accounts are effectively staffed and client deliverables are consistently met
Manage the cross-functional teams of content, PR, advertising, creative, and social media

Requirements

7-10+ years experience in a Marketing Director or similar role
Exceptional and excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
A proven track record of successful campaigns and announcements
