About the Role:

We are looking for a pragmatic, self-driven Mobile Engineer with a passion for sports to join our growing engineering team. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining our mobile applications, ensuring a world-class user experience for football fans.

This role requires strong experience in native iOS development (Swift/Objective-C) and React Native, with a focus on delivering high-performance, scalable, and visually engaging mobile apps.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to build and iterate on our core fan-centric mobile application.
Develop and maintain mobile features in React Native or native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) to ensure smooth, responsive, and performant experiences.
Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs, ensuring efficient data handling and real-time updates.
Optimize app performance, scalability, and reliability across a range of devices and network conditions.
Advocate for best coding practices, testing, and clean architecture in mobile development.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production, ensuring high app stability and usability.
Stay up to date with mobile development trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications:

7+ years of professional experience in mobile development, with at least 3 years in native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and React Native.
Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices.
Experience with API integration, authentication, and offline data handling in mobile apps.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications and app store deployment processes.
Previous experience working in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
A passion for sports, particularly football, and an interest in creating products that enhance fan engagement.

Nice to have:

Android development experience (Kotlin/Java).
Experience with mobile animations, real-time data, or multimedia content delivery.
Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS).
