👨‍🎨 Responsibilities

Design Beautiful, Intuitive Products: Create visually striking, user-friendly designs that bring Escargot’s playful personality and ethos to life—both in our digital experiences (website, e-commerce, social campaigns) and physical products (greeting cards, packaging).
End-to-End Product Development: Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, and content, to design experiences that are as practical as they are magical.
Lead UX Innovation: Use insights and empathy to craft thoughtful user journeys that make people feel seen, delighted, and seamlessly guided.
Iterate on Ideas Quickly: Sketch, prototype, and refine designs based on feedback and data—while staying true to Escargot’s brand identity.
Shape the Escargot Aesthetic: Ensure every design decision reinforces Escargot’s witty, heartfelt tone and balances creativity with clarity.
Collaborate Creatively: Work closely with the founders to bring big, bold ideas to life and push the boundaries of what a greeting card and design experience can be.
Champion Accessibility: Ensure designs are inclusive, accessible, and intuitive for all users, no matter the platform or product.

🏋️ Qualifications

5+ years of experience in consumer product design with mobile being a strong preference.
A portfolio that showcases exceptional design skills, creativity, and a mastery of blending stunning visuals with thoughtful UX.
Expert-level proficiency with design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
Strong understanding of UX design principles, with the ability to simplify complex user journeys into intuitive experiences.
Proven ability to balance brand creativity with functionality—your designs aren’t just pretty, they work.
Passion for crafting designs that evoke emotion and connect with audiences in meaningful ways.
A keen eye for typography, color, and visual storytelling that makes your work stand out.
Ability to think conceptually and execute practically, from brainstorming with the team to handing off polished files to developers.
