What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end design on major client projects — from research to production ready pixels.

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and client needs, based on the communities they serve.

  • Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions.

  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications.

  • Present and communicate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and team members. Bring high degrees of thoughtfulness - we love that.

  • Balance time and prioritization to generate the highest quality output.

  • Work closely with developers to ensure the designs are implemented accurately and to a high standard.

  • Level up our design team's skills and culture.

  • Work strategically with other team members on special projects.

Who We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of product design expertise

  • Can be global, but preferred locations are the Americas, Europe, and Africa

  • Agency experience a plus

  • Tapped into the world of product and technology. You have a pulse on the fast-moving landscape and are quick to form a POV. 

  • Able to operate at a high strategic level or a detailed ground level, depending on the task at hand

  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design and prototyping tools is a bonus.

  • Curious, humble, and ambitious - you learn from both your successes and failures

  • Wired to give and receive constructive feedback

  • Excellent product intuition and vision

  • Empathy for communities, community members, clients and your fellow team members

  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Strong understanding of design principles - great at UX design

  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing a bonus

  • Passionate about craft and obsessed about the details.
