About company

Legacy is building a transformative AI-driven system that enables health systems to provide personalized care at scale.

What that means is that we allow every patient to get care that is concordant with the quality of life that they want to maintain, rather than receiving intervention after intervention that leaves them in worse conditions. Thus allowing clinicians to enhance patient outcomes, reduce the use of non beneficial care and get reimbursed for doing all this!

We leverage ML to understand the patient, coach clinicians in real time to have these conversations and then create all the necessary documentation to ensure patients and clinicians are all on the same page.

We are here to fundamentally change the way healthcare is delivered.

Hi, I'm Shivi, founder of Legacy. I launched this initiative after witnessing my relatives endure unnecessary interventions at the end of their lives, lowering their quality of life and often leading to hospital deaths. The experience revealed a healthcare issue: clinicians lack data on patient preferences, leading to unintended harm. Legacy enables health systems to provide personalized care, addressing a significant problem—$700 billion annually in the US alone spent on nonbeneficial care. We're seeking a founding engineer with strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication. We're supported by an NSF grant, patents, and pilot programs. Join us in revolutionizing healthcare through patient-centered medicine. Apply if you're ready to make a difference. Thank you.
