APPLICATION DEADLINE: FEB 24

This position is perfect for someone who is studying a field related to behavioral science and who is enthusiastic about learning more about the world of applied behavioral science. Most of the work will involve creating and refining Google Slides to clearly convey the findings of academic research and their applications to real products. Interns should be able to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate ideas effectively.

Types of activities interns may perform:

Summarize academic studies in behavioral science, psychology, and economics
Design clear, engaging Google Slides presentations and document-based literature reviews based on research findings
Collect and organize screenshots of real tech products, calling out behavioral science tactics applied
Meet weekly with consultant mentor and other intern to plan activities
Attend team meetings with the broader Irrational Labs group (usually 11 am PST on Mondays) and present work to our internal team
Support the team with research and content development as needed for client engagements

What We’re Looking For:

Current undergraduate student or Master’s student studying behavioral science, psychology, economics, or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Documented ability to work independently with limited supervision
Experience with Google Slides or other presentation tools
Attention to detail and an eye for good slide design (no need to be a designer, but clarity and aesthetics matter!).
Interest in applied behavioral science and its business applications

Time, Location, and Compensation

Irrational Labs is based in San Francisco. But you can be based anywhere, so long as you are able to join calls in the PST timezone. We are not able to sponsor visas or hire international students based in US institutions who are not already authorized by their school to work in the US. We can work with students based outside of the US, time zone permitting.

We are looking to hire two interns for ~10 hours per week for a trial period of 2 months at a rate of $25/hour. After this period, there may be an opportunity to extend. Please apply by Feb 24.
