Hey there. I'm Masood, one of the founders of Rafa. We're seeking a senior staff product designer to help us revolutionize the hiring process. This role, akin to a founding product designer, offers significant ownership and input in design decisions and projects. As a Staff Product Designer, you’ll play a key role in shaping Rapha’s user experience, ensuring that our platform is intuitive, engaging, and effective for both recruiters and candidates. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design seamless hiring workflows, craft beautiful interfaces, and improve how companies assess talent.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the end-to-end design process, from research to final UI/UX execution.
  • Design intuitive and accessible experiences for recruiters and candidates.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to refine and improve the product.
  • Develop and maintain a scalable design system that ensures consistency.
  • Work closely with engineers to bring designs to life with smooth interactions.
  • Explore ways to improve candidate experience and culture-fit assessment through AI and audio-driven interactions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 6+ years of product design experience, ideally in SaaS, HR Tech, or AI-driven platforms.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design thinking and problem-solving.
  • Expertise in Figma (or similar tools) and a solid understanding of UX research methods.
  • Experience designing complex workflows and interactive experiences.
  • Ability to collaborate with product and engineering teams to iterate quickly.
  • Strong communication skills, with a focus on advocating for user needs.
  • Bonus: Experience designing for AI, conversational interfaces, or assessment tools.
