Hi, I'm Pranab. I'm thrilled to share about Odysee and our mission. We're a team enthusiastic about psychedelics but also grounded, with an engineering mindset. We see the benefits and risks of psychedelics and maintain a pragmatic optimism. Gabe, our founder and CEO, has a background in aerospace engineering and an MBA from Stanford. Aaron Nesmith Beck, our interim COO, joined us after Odysee acquired his psilocybin retreat company in Jamaica. We are looking for a part-time (10-20 hours/week) writing intern who will research, draft, edit, and publish SEO articles on various topics related to psychedelics. 

If you are a great writer who is interested in content strategy, growth initiatives, cutting-edge healthcare, and working with an experienced team, we’d love to chat. Our team believes in the potential of these substances to provide care and make a real difference in people’s lives.

Responsibilities

  • Research assigned topics related to psilocybin and psychedelics
  • Write and edit 2-4 fully fact-checked and SEO-optimized articles per week, using AI tools to increase efficiency
  • Work with the growth team on other content initiatives


Qualifications

  • You are currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at a US-based institution (or are recently graduated)
  • You have experience writing and editing and can move quickly
  • You are adept at research and a fast learner
  • You are detail-oriented and maintain a high quality bar
  • You communicate proactively and are a self-starter
  • You are interested in learning about SEO strategy and AI content development
  • You are excited to learn about the benefits, risks, and legal landscape for psychedelics for mental healt
