Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Art Director to lead our design team in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will transform strategy-based briefs into visually stunning brand identities; including illustrations, graphical elements, and website designs. Working closely with a small, highly skilled team, you will guide the creative process to ensure the delivery of exceptional visual work aligned with our clients’ strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of designers, focusing on providing guidance and mentorship rather than intense managing.
Creative Vision & Execution:
Develop brand strategies that capture each brand’s essence through cohesive and compelling storytelling.
Translate design strategies into cohesive, impactful visual identities.
Client Collaboration: Engage directly with clients to understand their vision, present concepts, and ensure satisfaction throughout the design process.
Quality Control & Project Oversight:
Ensure all creative outputs meet client and studio expectations, maintaining a balance between both the micro and macro aspects of design.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Required Experience

A minimum of five years in branding, with at least three years in an agency setting.
Two or more years in a senior or leadership role within design teams.

Essential Skills

Collaboration & Leadership: Exceptional team collaboration and leadership abilities, with a focus on empowering others and fostering their skills.
Design Expertise:
Strong expertise in branding and identity design, with a proven ability to translate strategic concepts into compelling visual identities.
Experience in UI/UX design.
Project Management:
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage project timelines and deliverables effectively.
Project management experience is a plus.
Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail, with an eye for both the small details and the big picture.
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma.

Educational Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
