Position Overview: Break Sports is redefining how brands connect with fans through the power of sports and fitness. We are seeking a Brand Partnerships Manager to drive revenue growth and build impactful relationships with top-tier brand partners. This role is essential in shaping our sales strategy, delivering innovative partnership solutions, and aligning with our 2025 revenue goals. Working closely with the Head of Brand Partnerships, you will craft tailored proposals, close high-value deals, and ensure lasting value for both Break Sports and our partners. Key Responsibilities:
- Partnership Development:
- Identify and target high-potential brands that align with our mission and values.
- Develop customized partnership proposals that showcase mutual benefits and ROI.
- Act as the main point of contact for brand partners, ensuring a seamless and professional experience throughout the sales cycle.
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Collaborate with leadership to refine and execute the go-to-market strategy for brand partnerships.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and deal closure.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline, leveraging CRM tools to track progress and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work:
- Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to develop integrated solutions for partners.
- Provide feedback from partners to internal teams to inform product and service enhancements.
Key Proficiencies & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in brand partnerships, business development, or sales, with a focus on integrated packages, including events and activations.
- A strong, established network of decision-makers at enterprise-level brands across key categories.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for creating compelling content.
- Passion for sports and a keen interest in the intersection of technology and athletics.
Type of Role: Full-Time Remote
Compensation & Benefits
- Cash Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 base salary + generous commission + equity
