Hey, Thomas. It's Masood from Rafa. I made a demo app for you to enhance the KP website. With Rafa, you can add audio, so as the hiring manager, you can explain the Kleiner Perkins Fellowship program's daily operations, expectations, and the ideal candidate profile. This way, you can address FAQs upfront and applicants can respond with their own audio, allowing you to know them better before calls. Looking forward to our chat on Monday, but feel free to try it out before then. See you.

The Kleiner Perkins (KP) Fellows Program recognizes the importance of providing next-generation leaders with engineering opportunities. The KP Fellows program introduces students interested in technology and entrepreneurship to contribute to and learn from growing startups that we believe in, while receiving support from a community of peers and industry leaders.

As a KP Fellow you will work directly with one of our portfolio companies. You’ll receive a special curriculum which includes a curated founder speaker series, entrepreneurial workshops, and community building events. After the program, you will join an alumni community of 1,000+ up-and-coming technology leaders and successful founders, and receive continual support from KP for your entrepreneurial endeavors.

Applications are now open until 11:59pm Wednesday, January 31st. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience launching a meaningful product/project from scratch
  • Self-starters eager to make an impact
  • Position(s) of influence in campus organization or other programs
  • Degree in computer science, engineering, math, physics or other fields related to software engineering
  • Candidates available to be in the San Francisco Bay Area from June 23rd to August 29th

What to expect

After the KP Fellows selection committee reviews applications, a small number of students will be selected as semi-finalists. Semi-final interviews are conducted virtually and finalists will be selected. Our company partners will then reach out directly to finalists for interviews if they see a fit. If an offer is made, the terms of compensation and start and end dates will be negotiated directly between the student and the company. Upon acceptance of an offer, the student will become a Kleiner Perkins Fellow and will be invited to participate in all program activities.
