As a Senior Transportation Project Manager in Sacramento, CA, you will have an opportunity to work with a multi-disciplinary team on meaningful, landmark projects in the Sacramento region. Qualifications

Candidate shall have a BSCE degree, California Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer, plus a minimum of ten years’ experience in public works design with an emphasis in transportation engineering; or the equivalent work experience of 14 years. 

Position requires:

  • Extensive experience and demonstrated engineering abilities in all aspects of roadway engineering projects
  • Interacting comfortably and productively with clients and public agencies
  • Experience with Caltrans District 3 and knowledge of Caltrans processes is a plus
  • Candidate must have a minimum five years’ project management experience

Candidate’s managerial experience will include:

  • Supervision of engineering design teams
  • Management of project schedules and budgets
  • Preparation of contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work
  • Experience in client and public-agency interactions.

Ability to develop business in the field of transportation design is a must.
